Taken over a week end spent in Tenterden Kent with the Seven Champions Molly Dancers. We had a few good week-ends with this amazing team who could fairly be said to have been in the forefront, and probably way in the lead, of the Molly revival. In fact they got an interview on "Folk On Two" when it was introduced by Jim Lloyd making that rare event - dancing on the radio a reality. There are a few mysteries in here such as who the saxaphone player is and the identity of the Cotswold sides, the date would be nice and maybe some location information. Other than that it's all pretty clear and any updates are always welcome at the editors desk. Meanwhile here's the rundown:

The Team :
Derek Bacon Meg Bradshaw
Doug Bradshaw Jenny Cropp (Melodeon)
John Earnshaw Liz Higgs
Ken Martin Elaine Pollard/Ord
Martin Ord (Melodeon) Jan Porter
Trefor Owen Barbara Quinn
Pete Woodward (Fiddle) Pauline Woods-Wilson
  Someone we "borrowed"(saxaphone)

The section marked in italics is where the original tape went "wobbly". I've kept it in if only for the afternoon sports element.
